My favorite South Florida Nightclub is Liv at the Fontainbleau...

Going to Liv is one of my favorite things to do when I want to dance and have a good time. I do have to admit though that if you don't get a ticket ahead of time waiting at the door might prove to be a disappointment. Usually I check what DJ's are playing there and buy tickets.

Another Day at the Beach...

Beautiful blue skies, warm ocean breeze and the sound of the surf. What else can a person ask for. I love being at the beach. It's so relaxing and re-energizing. I love the feel of the sand between my toes, the smell of suntan lotion, the sound of the surf. I always try to pick a section of the beach that isn't too crowded so that I can enjoy my small piece of paradise in peace and quiet.

South Florida Intracoastal Living

There are things I don't like about South Florida, like:
- property taxes (which are extremely high),
- insurance (I'm blessed to live near the beach but I have to pay homeowner's insurance, flood insurance and hurricane insurance),
- crazy drivers,
- the heat in the summer I agree can be extreme, hurricane season
- the changing of seasons, colorful leaves in autumn, first snow fall etc.

But I'm just a drive or plane ride away from the things I miss and I don't have to put up with the cold, shoveling snow, scrapping ice off my car's windshield etc.
I'm surrounded by greenery year round and for the most part I love the weather. I would say that the months I hate the most are July August and September because I find they are always the hottest months.

I love all the different cultures around South Florida and the art shows and festivals are great. I especially like being able to practice all the different languages I know.  Some people say that people in Florida are not friendly I would have to say that especially in Dade and Broward Counties a lot of people come from up north and so they might be bringing their bad attitudes with them. I've never met someone that was unfriendly down here. I always found people to be very welcoming. And what I like best about South Florida is the fact that it's a big melting pot of people from all over the country and world.

I've lived in many different cities in Europe, Canada and the United States and each place has good and bad. I believe that it all comes down to what type of person you are and who you choose to hang out with.

For me there's nothing better than a Salt Life in South Florida.
